The Shimano BR-MT410 Disc Brake Set, often paired with the BL-M4100 or BL-MT401 levers, is a high-performance hydraulic braking system designed for All Mountain, City & Touring, and Cross Country riding. It provides intuitive and powerful braking with superior modulation, ensuring excellent control on various terrains. The set features durable 2-piston brake calipers with quick piston retraction for reliable stopping power and a lightweight design.
The brake levers are crafted from aluminum, offering a comfortable 2-finger design with tool-adjustable reach to accommodate different hand sizes. The split clamp design on the levers allows for seamless integration with I-Spec EV shifters, providing a cleaner cockpit setup with a wider adjustment range for optimal ergonomics.
Maintenance is simplified with Shimano's funnel bleeding and One-Way Bleeding technologies, which efficiently prevent air bubbles from remaining in the caliper. This J-Kit (Junction-Kit) version is pre-bled and designed for easy installation, especially for frames with internal hose routing, as the lever comes disconnected but pre-bled with connecting bolt/built-in olive pre-installed. The system uses Shimano mineral oil and is compatible with resin pads (B05S-RX or B01S). Recommended brake rotors include SM-RT30, SM-RT54, and SM-RT56.
